About Omar Lo
Omar Lo’s basketball career spans both collegiate and professional levels, marked by consistent growth and dedication. From humble beginnings practicing basketball in his hometown of Los Angeles, California, he started at Peninsula College (2015-2017) before moving on to play for the Notre Dame de Namur Argonauts (2017-2018) and the California Baptist Lancers (2019-2020).
Omar transitioned to a professional basketball career in Spain, playing for CB Tormes (2020-2021) and UCAM Murcia CB (2021-2022). He continued with Basketball Club City of Ponferrada (2022-2023) and Club Bàsquet Menorca (2023-2024), and is currently playing for Caja Rural CB Zamora for the 2024-2025 season.
In addition to his ongoing playing career, Omar founded the Omar Lo Basketball Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality basketball training, mentorship, and essential skills development to aspiring athletes. The foundation aims to foster the growth of young athletes both on and off the court, promoting leadership and positive community impact.
Omar’s journey to the professional basketball arena exemplifies his dedication to the sport and his commitment to giving back to the community. His future aspirations include expanding his foundation’s reach and continuing to inspire young athletes both on and off the court.
